Rybomania doubles emotions – Poznań and Katowice 2027
The 15th edition of Rybomania is just around the corner—it’s the perfect opportunity to recharge. Reflecting on our experience so far and observing how the event has evolved in recent years, it’s time to set sail for broader horizons! In addition to the main event in Poznań on March 5–7 at the Poznań International Fair, where manufacturers and market leaders will continue to gather, a second Rybomania event will also take place in 2027. On February 6–7, the organizers will invite fishing enthusiasts to the International Congress Center in Katowice.

In response to questions from exhibitors, the media, and visitors about whether the Rybomania Fair will return to its format as an event held in several cities, the organizers acknowledge that Rybomania’s presence in southern Poland has been a constant focus for the team. The industry’s message is clear: manufacturers, distributors, and fishing stores need a high-quality event on a smaller, local scale that will enrich the calendar and allow them to showcase their offerings more comprehensively. Our experience in organizing trade shows, including satellite events, allows us to meet this need while fully recognizing the challenges involved in staging this type of event. “Although on a smaller scale than the Poznań edition, Rybomania in Katowice will be just as professional in its organization. We believe it will perfectly set the mood for the fishing community ahead of the main event, which will take place a month later,” adds Tobiasz Nowacki, project director of Rybomania Katowice.
Why the International Congress Center in Katowice?
If an event is to be held under the Rybomania banner, it must meet the well-known, high standards of organization. The International Congress Center is a venue perfectly suited for this type of event, recognized not only in Silesia but throughout Poland, with excellent infrastructure and a prime location. The pavilion space will be functional for both exhibitors and visitors—Rybomania will have as much as 10,000 m2 of exhibition space at its disposal. Participants will be able to take advantage of various modes of public transportation (rail, air, and public transit), while those traveling by private vehicle will be able to park in a spacious parking lot immediately adjacent to the MCK.
Just as the choice of venue was not random, the timing of the Katowice edition is also strategic—taking place one month before the main event in Poznań will allow for thorough organization and coordination of both events, and exhibitors
and visitors planning to attend the event at both locations will have the opportunity to do so. Additionally, February 6–7 falls on the weekend between the winter break periods
in the Silesian Voivodeship (January 18–31) and the Greater Poland Voivodeship (February 15–28), which will also make it easier for visitors to attend.

Rybomania is more than just a trade show—it’s a fishing “family”
The vast community gathered around the Rybomania Trade Show and our long-standing, close partnerships give us confidence that the Katowice edition will attract just as many enthusiasts. The organizers will make every effort to ensure that this satellite event meets the expectations of exhibitors—who will be able to showcase their offerings more fully—as well as partners—including media outlets, associations, and fishing experts—and visitors, who will gain an additional opportunity to engage with companies and explore their latest product lines. The support that the initiative to return to the concept of a multi-city event has already received at this stage serves as additional motivation for the organizers.
